In 1907, Walter A. Sheaffer used his jewellery expertise to create a device which would allow users to fill a pen with ink much easier, cleaner and be more aesthetically-pleasing. In 1912, Walter A. Sheaffer, dedicated his life savings to his idea of a pen-filling apparatus that initiates a lever system. By the 1930’s, Sheaffer pens had solidified itself as a leader in the luxury pen market. The fountain pens were advertised as the pen that “fills instantly from any ink-well, with one touch of a finger.” Instantly, Sheaffer became a household name and must-have product. Sheaffer continued to design innovative and manufacture quality, robust and beautiful . The Sheaffer 100 along with the 300 and the 500 were perhaps the combined successors to the Javelin as part of Sheaffer’s design and product review in 2009.

On offer is a FERRARI BUNDLE comprising a striking NEW SHEAFFER 500 BALLPOINT PEN in a FERRARI ROSSO finish with chrome trim, PLUS a new paperback notepad with various vintage Ferrari cars on the front and back cover and a new Ferrari KEYRING of the 1961 Ferrari 156F1 car.The pen cap, barrel and section all have a metal core, which yields a quality feel in hand without being overly heavy for long writing sessions. The cap on the pen has a chrome plated band with “FERRARI ” and “SCUDERIA” indented around the circumference. The chrome plated up and over clip on the cap has a shield/badge displaying a black rampant horse on a yellow background, symbolic of the famous Ferrari brand. The clip also sports the iconic Sheaffer trademark white dot. The ballpoint pen is activated by a twist action of the cap and has a new ink refill. This pen feels good in hand, and a pleasure to write with and looks fantastic. The pen is in mint aesthetic condition with no dents, dings, scratches, micro signs of use or personalisation on this pen set. The pen  is presented in its original Ferrari Red Sheaffer box and outer sleeve, both with the iconic Ferrari rampant horse motif. The A5 Ferrari 120 page notepad has vintage cars printed on the front and back covers. The KEYRING has a metal Ferrari 156F1 formula 1 racing car from 1961 and Ferrari badge and is in its original unopened packaging.
