Here's a beautiful white opalescent snowflake Hobbs kerosene stand lamp made in the 1880s by Hobbs Brockunier & Co....It is referred to by collectors as Hobbs No.341. It has a clear glass square font with white opalescent snowflakes inside the glass.... ribs around underside and shoulder.....bold white opalescent snowflakes inside the glass .....Clear glass base with scalloped foot that has corrugated bottom...nickel plated brass threaded connector to allow the font to be unscrewed from base. it has a couple small splits but screws down snug with no wobble or looseness......7 1/2"tall up to the brass collar on top of font....15 1/2"tall with burner & chimney.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except one small shallow flake on very bottom of base; No other damage.  Shiny clean with no haze. Original brass threaded collar is excellent with no damage. Solid brass burner in good working condition. It turns the wick up and down. Old glass chimney has the beaded "Pearl top"...also perfect with no chips or damage. This wonderful antique original lamp was made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Circa 1881.....An example is shown in Thuro - Oil Lamps II, p. 104....I will unscrew the font from the base for safety when shipping. It screws back together very smoothly and snug....
