Parker introduced the RB-1 in the late 1970’s, initially as a rollerball and in 1984 as a fountain pen, . The designated name was then changed from FP-1 to the Vector ( Latin for ‘carrier’) in 1984. In late 1984 the Vector was offered in 4 hard colours and refined slightly with a shortened barrel, longer grip and different clip design. In 1985 a ‘flighter’ version was introduced to Vector line up as well as ballpoint pens and pencils. New finishes began to appear in all 4 models, such as the special, mode, sport, black n white, Americana etc. Since the outset of its production the vector has appeared in many different guesses and special editions. They have been manufactured in the USA, England, France, India and China over the decades.

On offer is Parker Vector series 003 rollerball pen in a ‘yellow background with grey geometric pattern’. This is a special edition, made in the United Kingdom . The rollerball pen has a new ink refill.This pen was produced in uk. The date code (Y) on the pen indicates it was made in the last quarter of 2006. This pen is in excellent age appropriate aesthetic condition with no appreciable scratches dents, or dings on the pen, although as with all used vintage pens there will be the inevitable micro signs of use. The pen is presented in a plastic Parker box. please refer to the photographs closely as they form an integral part of the description.
