Dennison Triple Hinge 2oz Silver Half Hunter Case.
The Sterling silver triple hinge case is hallmarked at Birmingham for 1918, and the makers mark A.L.D. The mark for Dennison. It is in excellent condition with very light pocket wear. The hinges are firm with the lids opening and closing correctly. The crown releases the front lid to 90 degrees. The bow is firm on the pendent. Both crystals are present in good condition. It is crown wind and set all working correctly.
The 15 jewelled Waltham movement is in a very good clean condition. It winds smoothly and running strongly. The serial number 21908320 lists it as the 1908 model, grade 620, size 16, 15 jewel and made in 1918. Beautiful nickel steel plates and chrome headed screws with lovely damascene engine turn finishing.
The ivory white enamel dial is in lovely condition, fine Roman numerals and no sign of damage or lines The hands are excellent whip and spade blued steel. It is signed for American Waltham USA.
