SCHNEIDER Xenar 1:3.5/75 and Heidosmat Lenses from a Rollei-Magic Camera

Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 1:3.5/75 and Heidosmat lenses from a Rollei-Magic camera. The serial number of the Xenar lens is 5 568 406 (made in 1960). Both lenses have front-lens focusing. 

Ideal for replacing damaged lens elements or for projects. 

The shutter components have been removed, the diaphragm is still in place (accessible from the rear of the lens).

To check on the optical performance of the Xenar lens, it was mounted in front of a 12 MPixel Olympus E-PL1 digital camera. The set-up is shown in image #4.

The E-PL1 was set to manual focus and aperture priority exposure. The result for the lens diaphragm fully open (f:3.5) is shown in image #5 (reduced to eBay's max. 1600 pixel image size). Image #6 shows the central part of #5 at the full resolution of the E-PL1. The image is already quite sharp, but will improve with closing down the diaphragm.  

The lenses are in good condition, no scratches or separation.
