Everything in Annie Abbott's life is pretty routine and normal. She is a good student at the Junior High School and her father is a professor at the local university, until a set of mysterious boxes appear out of nowhere hidden in their attic. After they open them, and discover the clues within, their lives will never be the same as they embark on an adventure that challenges them to the limits of their abilities, both physically and mentally.
The story takes Annie on a path of enlightenment, where she discovers the sisterhood of witches to which she always belonged, who teach her to see magic in even the simplest of things in life all around her. We learn the deep and carefully guarded secret that her father holds as he watches her powers begin to grow. Together they face the challenges as true magic enters into their lives.

Author Biography
Isabelle Nelson is a current Junior at Saint Ambrose University double majoring in English and Secondary Education with a minor in ESL (English as a Second Language). Her plans are to become a high school English teacher and later teach English abroad. She hopes to pursue her master's degree following a few years of teaching. She has always loved to read and recently discovered her passion for writing. She credits her love of it to her parents and many educators who have supported her endeavors with the craft. Michael Nelson is a former small-town physician, living in a small community among the deep hills and valleys of Southwestern Wisconsin. Retired now, he indulges in his many hobbies. Woodworking, and travel to various parts of the country but most of all; writing. Always being open to new things has kept him youthful and vital as he tries to keep up with his young daughter, Isabelle. In his first 3 novels, Michael (Deeze) Nelson detailed his life from the projects of inner-city Chicago, the Vietnam War, and the struggle to rise above the emotional and psychological burdens of those experiences. Drawing upon their adventures together, in this most recent endeavor, he and his daughter, Isabelle have taken a lighter approach to exciting adventure and magic.
