Description

Eras Five-State Distortion is a distortion pedal that inherits the five clipping modes and BLEND knob from Ages Five-State Overdrive.

A high-gain sound that creates a tone perfect for metal chopping, fast playing, tight bridge mutes, etc.
In addition, the dry signal can be blended, providing effective distortion for bassists. A true NewEras distortion that can deliver aggressive sounds in any setting is born.

■BLEND
BLEND knob allows you to adjust the balance of clean (dry)/distortion signal.
The minimum is a clean signal with no distortion, and as you turn it clockwise, the distortion increases until the maximum is a clean, undistorted signal.
The clean and distortion channels are parallel inside the Eras, and by adjusting the clean, you can create a core sound.
By connecting a booster, overdrive or distortion pedal to the front of Eras, you can create unique mixture sounds.
The BLEND knob is also very effective for bassists.

■MODE
Mode switch allows you to select from 5 gain and clipping combinations.
1: Tight mode with a slight mid cut (LED hard clipping) has the best followability and is ideal for bridge muting.
2: Tight mode with slight mid-cut (silicon hard clipping) smooth and compressed sound
3: Dual clipping mode with slight mid-cut (silicon/LED hard clipping) Sustain rich and full distortion sound
4: Rhythm mode with more mid-cut (LED hard clipping) A crisp sound with tight response
5: Rhythm mode with more mid cut (silicon hard clipping) Warm open sound
