A belt-drive turntable from Kenwood under the Trio name, featuring the same Anti Resonance Compression Base (ARCB) proprietary synthetic chassis as its more famous relatives. The KD-2055 features a fixed tonearm and some other automated features.

The ARCB material is injection-moulded to create the ribs and structures we see in these chassis. Various boards and parts are secured with captive brass fittings because the ARCB is brittle and not suitable for tapping.

It is in a class of ‘sleeper’ decks that perform well.
