What is Automotive Engine Carbon Deposition?

During the working process of the auto engine, the carbon and black gelatinous particles accumulated in the intake and exhaust valves, intake ports, combustion chambers, fuel injectors, and other positions inside the engine produced by unsaturated olefins and colloids in the fuel at high temperature are called carbon deposition. Carbon deposition will increase vehicle exhaust emissions and reduce engine performance. Sometimes, the falling of carbon particles at the valve position may block the normal opening and closing of the valve, resulting in the deformation of the valve stem. The existence of carbon deposition not only occupies a certain space of the engine, but also easily forms a hot spot (the temperature is easy to suddenly increase) under high temperature, leading to the generation of a second ignition point, causing the preignition detonation of the gasoline engine, and then affecting the working performance and service life of the engine.
