Author Biography

Daniela Martagón es originaria de la Ciudad de México y actualmente vive y trabaja en Madrid. Estudió Artes Visuales y trabajó como diseñadora antes de dedicarse a la ilustración. Ha participado en muchos libros, entre los que se encuentra El conejo en la Luna, de editorial Océano. Trabajó en Filosofía para Niños en la Frontera, en el Paso, Texas. Es cofundadora del proyecto Wonder Ponder, un nuevo sello editorial de filosofía visual para niños. Ellen Duthie nació en España, aunque su nacionalidad es británica. Ha invertido los últimos diez años de su vida en desarrollar materiales que estimulen el diálogo con y entre niños sobre las grandes preguntas de la filosofía. Tiene una maestría en Filosofía por la Universidad de Edimburgo y actualmente es escritora, bloguera, traductora y cofundadora del proyecto Wonder Ponder, un nuevo sello editorial de filosofía visual para niños. Su influencia predominante es Maurice Sendak y disfruta de la literatura que te hace pensar sin decir qué pensar.

Daniela Martagón is originally from Mexico City and currently lives and works in Madrid. She studied Visual Arts and worked as a designer before turning to illustration. She has participated in many books, among which is The Rabbit on the Moon, published by the Oceano publishing house. She worked at Philosophy for Children on the Border, in El Paso, Texas. She is a co-founder of the Wonder Ponder project, a new visual philosophy publishing house for children. Ellen Duthie was born in Spain, although her nationality is British. She has invested the last ten years of her life developing materials that stimulate dialogue with and between children on the big questions of philosophy. She has an MA in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh and is currently a writer, blogger, translator and co-founder of the Wonder Ponder project, a new visual philosophy publishing house for children. Her predominant influence is Maurice Sendak and she enjoys literature that makes you think without saying what to think.
