Tri-ang Railways Double-ended, Twin Pantograph, Electric Locomotive

This Tri-ang Railways electric locomotive, in two-tone green livery, is in a very good working condition. 

I have tested her and, admittedly, she was a little reluctant at first. 

However, she eventually got going with lights working at both ends. 

Therefore I suspect all she really needs is a spot of lubrication here and there and some running-in. 

There is a slight hairline crack, at five o'clock, below the headlight at the Nº 1 End. 

Please see the area circled in red in Photo 7. 

Apart from that the loco is in a really good condition for her age with no other damage that I can see. 

However, please bear this in mind before bidding.

The twin pantographs are undamaged and can be raised and lowered without problems. 

However, I have not been able to test them to see if the loco can be operated using them.

The loco comes with original paperwork, as follows: 

Tri-ang Railways Instruction and Information Manual (Booklet)
Tri-ang Railways Servicing Scheme (Booklet)

Both items are creased across the middle from being folded and stored in the box for many years. 

Apart from that, and some rusty staples, they are in a nice condition.

The box, lid and inner packaging, meanwhile, are also all in a nice condition.

The Catalogue Nº is R257, the Running Nº is 7053 and the loco dates from 1961.
