Twenty-four (24) 1933 DeLong Gum Co. size (2" by 3") full-color cards comprise this excellent reprint set. Although overshadowed in that depression time by the massive 240 card Goudey set, DeLongs carry a special place in the hearts of many longtime collectors. For one, player selection was outstanding and for another, rather limited distribution made assembling a set a real challenge. Enter this reprint set! 

Besides the 15 All-Time Great Baseball Hall of Famers noted above, the set also includes other outstanding players: Lefty O'Doul, Riggs Stephenson, Lon Warneke, Jimmy Dykes,Joe Vosmik, Bill Urbanski, Oscar Melillo and Marty McMannus (Red Sox player-manager)

It is a picture of all-time baseball great Ted Williams with The Baseball Hobbyist's Steve Mitchell at a 1983 Connecticut sports collectors gathering - Ted's very first-ever collector event.
