Vintage Rockshock SL Titanium, 1-1/8” threadless.

This came from a Klein I bought on marketplace and rode around for a while without noticing any issues other than the fork needing to be serviced. While I was taking it apart to clean I noticed that the right bolt attaching the brake bridge was not engaging (see last pic). As a temporary solution I got a few longer bolts in there that do hold it. I’m honestly not sure if the bolts it came with are original because it seems like it should have longer bolts that thread the entire length. Also noticed one of the cantilever post bolts have some stripping as well, but it does stay in place, but probably would be a disaster waiting to happen. After doing some research a helicoil should do the job to repair the threading.

I just lost the original screw (the one with the threading issue), but the ones on there now are longer that engages the thread that is still ok.

If someone needs this for some parts, or if you can do a helicoil job and service the fork i believe that is all it needs to be used. But I have to admit that I don’t have a whole lot of experience with suspension forks so I’m not 100% sure.

Im trying to get rid of the massive amount of “someday projects” in my garage so will be listing probably a bunch of stuff this week. I’ll always combine / refund shipping if you get a few things. Message me if you have any other questions!
