By GLA & Brothers (Ashworth Brothers) of Haley, England. First issued in 1862 and produced through 1968. Early piece from the late 1860's through sometime in the late 1800's based on the imprints and incise marks.
Measures 9 1/2 inches across the handles, 7 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall to the top. As noted about this does have 2 secure cracks that go through from the interior to the exterior as well as discoloration to the feet. Thus this is only suitable for display. And it does display very well with no chips, breaks or repairs. Very hard piece to find. Has been appropriately discounted. |
