This charming carved wood and period fabric figure of a "dude" from the late 1800's is created from carved and painted wood, tin, leather, figured woolen fabric and bent metal wire and measures 8" tall.  As the images show, his pose and the variety of detail make this folk image very engaging and he is well-preserved with stable paint and little loss.  I see no bad moth damage to the fabric.  He needs a bit of adjusting to stand up straight and his fabric will show LOTS more color and pattern with a careful cleaning.
