The books cover is green cloth boards with gold gilt title writing to the spine. The cover has some surface shelf ware, light rubbing to the corners and spine edges, otherwise in good condition. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good condition.  The book is very nicely illustrated throughout ( see pictures). There are 494 pages. The pages are all in good clean condition throughout. Unfortunately the book has split at the middle signature. Otherwise the book is in good condition for its age. The binding is tight and square.
