Author Biography
OTHO HORST began life as a farmer, but God had other plans. Through his years of missionary and pastoral work, Otho has lived a fulfilling life for Jesus and continually encourages others to live for Him, too. Otho is a natural storyteller. Whether from over the pulpit or around the dinner table, his children, grandchildren, and many others have enjoyed listening to his stories from a lifetime of service in various places around the globe. With a desire to preserve these stories and pass them on to others, Otho's daughter FERN HORST and granddaughter ALYSSA REITZ committed themselves to compiling and publishing them. This book is a result of many of hours listening to Otho's stories and reading his diaries and letters, long days of writing interspersed with laughter, and - most of all - a growing awareness of a God Who has a purpose and plan for good for each person He creates.
