Hi neighbor ,

This fantasy creation is a hatchet/axe of my own making . It consists of a skill saw 7 1/4 inch cutting blade fitted through a solid oak handle fashioned from an oak 2X4 . The blade is secured in the handle with two large solid steel pins that go all the way through the handle and are bradded on each side .

This is an unusual collector’s piece that could be used for decorative purposes or utilized for practical use .
