The controls are very rich and varied: volume, treble cut, bass cut, pickup selector, series/parallel active treble boost/active/passive, and too many others to use. The bassist is able to use the bass guitar for a variety of purposes, from pre-bass to jazz bass stings, and he is able to design a powerful and highly practical instrument.
