Good condition-The long box (12.25" x 3.75" x 2.75")would be good for Handkerchiefs or gloves. The Gold Trim on the side of the English Countryside scene has a 2" section missing on the left side. The paper has some wear along the edges, some very small chips/pieces missing of the green floral paper on the sides. Hinges work well, and the clasp on the front works. Very old water stain on the bottom that didn;t go through to the inside. The Pink Satin interior has some dust/and expected from wear/usage. Very attractive antique piece! The smaller box (5.75" x 5.75" x 2.5") has a seaside scene, with a young boy in a boat wearing a Sailor Suit waving his hat (?). The clasp on the front works well, and the hinges are in place on the back-but one hinge needs the pin through the hinge. The interior Satin was a nice Green, but only the bottom has remnants of that color. The top inside top of the lid looks like it was left open and the sun faded the Green to a Goldish color. Some paper wear on the sides, but otherwise Good Condition. no damage found. Original label on the back. Viking-Hand Made.
