Original Russian 1993 made Barvikha VSR 93 camouflage suit, fantasy badge arrangement, and not historically accurate, as per character Colonel Chekov, (Played by actor Gary Chalk). However, all insignia (except two) are authentic Russian/Soviet from the period. Sold as a set of jacket and trousers, they are stamped as size 54-4, which equals a 36 inch (91 cm) waist on the trousers with a 31 inch (79 cm) leg, the jacket will fit a 46 inch chest, maybe a 48.
Both came to me as a set brand new, and have never been used, only worn to try on, the only damage to note, is some surface rust on the trouser hook/eye. Jacket has four patch pockets on the front, plus two on the sleeves, two internal pockets, adjustable internal waist cord, the trousers have button adjustable side tabs, slash pockets on the hips, cargo pockets on the leg sides, a smll fob pocket by the fly, and adjustable cuffs at the ankles.
Jacket has as much insignia as I was able to obtain correct to the screen worn outfit, and includes;-
Original VSR 93 rank slides for the rank of Colonel. (not actually used on the TV costume, but by rights should be there).
Original Soviet Cosmonaut Service arm patch, rubber heat fixed onto wool.
Original Russian federation blood group badge RH-. (It should then show the actual blood group of the wearer, but this is not how it was done for the show).
Replica "Korolev" starship patch, a fan made item, hard to get hold of.
Self made Chekov name badge.
No alterations have been made to either item, the TV show based insignia can be removed and replaced with correct historical ones. Ideal for airsoft, or for a collection.
