Antique circa 1850 Henry Wilkinson & Co old Sheffield Plate Stunning Decorative Pierced Wine Bottle Coaster. Pierced sides and Repoussed decorated grape vines, leaves and grapes to the rim.

With turned wood Wood Base.

Used antique item in very good condition, no wear seen to the plate. There is slight movement to a section of piercing where the metal has bent inwards, barely noticeable, photo 12.

Marked with EGS into three conjoined circles & R as well as gothic Henry Wilkinson & Co mark, crossed swords appear to have been cut photo 11 (bottom left).

Measurements approximately:

Diameter of the whole 20cm (8”)

Diameter of the wood base 12.5cm (5”)

I have given it a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don't over clean or polish. There may be the odd age related wear/mark commensurate with age.
