Geprägt aus einer Unze 99,9% Silber in Polierter Platte, zeigt das Motiv in Farbe eine Szene aus dem 1953 erschienenen Zeichentrickfilm "Peter Pan". Ebenfalls im Design enthalten sind die Aufschriften "PETER PAN" und "DISNEY 100 YEARS OF WONDER", sowie ein Stempel der Walt Disney Company. Auf der Rückseite ist das Wappen von Niue, der Nennwert, das Ausgabejahr, sowie Gewicht und Feinheit der Münze zu sehen.

To celebrate this special anniversary, the New Zealand Mint has issued this silver coin in the shape of a stamp. Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the motive in color depicts a scene from the 1953 animated film "Peter Pan". Also included in the design are the inscriptions "PETER PAN" and "DISNEY 100 YEARS OF WONDER", as well as a Walt Disney Company stamp. The reverse shows the coat of arms of Niue, the denomination, the year of issue, as well as the weight and fineness of the coin.

"Peter Pan", a timeless Disney classic from 1953, tells the story of Wendy Darling and her brothers, who are abducted by Peter Pan to the magical Neverland. There they embark on adventures against Captain Hook and his band of pirates and with the fairy Tinkerbell. Peter Pan, the boy who never wants to grow up, symbolizes the freedom of childhood and the longing for adventure. The limited mintage of only 2,023 pieces is based on the anniversary year of the Walt Disney Company. The silver coin in color dedicated to the 100th anniversary is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
