Highly decorative later Victorian work- a fantastic study influenced by Rosa Bonheur and painted by the listed French painter Alfred Godchaux 1835-1895.

Size- 14 by 21.75 inches approx
Medium- Oils on canvas, re-lined
Frame- Unframed.
Condition- We would be very happy to hang this one as found. Generally decent condition given its age, some light varnish browning patches in places. Some thinner paint areas in places and some canvas restorations lower left hand corner, craqueleur visible.
Signature- Lower left.
