Description

Big Shot featured reprints of McNaught Syndicate humor and adventure strips, alongside original characters like Skyman and The Face. Tom Kerry, District Attorney investigates when a gorilla murders a carnival barker at a circus, but evidence suggests the gorilla was framed by a monkey. Rocky Ryan and Doe Ames find the lost land of Carcarola, where Doe is abducted by the unicorn-riders of the high steppes. The Face investigates a smuggled Buddha and learns that it contains stolen diamonds. Plus a Hollywood page featuring Bette Davis.
