SUMMARY
A stunning Stunning Art Deco Railway TimeKeeper Roskopf Pocket Watch, dating from ca. 1930 with cream and lumised dial and wonderful lumed hands.
The watch with good balance staff, balance spring eeds repinning to stud; sconldy the pallets are good wth nicely pivoting staff, but the Roskopf pin-pallet escapement, two banking pins to brass pallets need replacement, so sold for spares or repair, which seems to be straightforward.
THE DIAL: 99%, the satin cream dial with fine green luminised Arabic numerals, and a separate minute track to outside of dial with lumised hour markers. With stunning luminised hour and minute hands. Diameter is 40 mm. Signed Railway Time keeper, Austrian Made.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with gilded plate in wonderful condition. The balance cock with three arm balance wheel. The pin pallet escapement complet.
THE CASE: 95% mint, the chrome plated sunburst backed case measures an impressive 45 mm outside diameter. The covers both closing tightly, and in fine order with fine pattern to rear cover and some patination as shown.
