Installation of Bluetooth printer is complicated and require skills. If you not experienced PC user and don't have Network administrator- please don't buy this device as you may fail to install it. If you are using Bluetooth dongle on you PC please ensure that when you right click on Bluetooth icon on Notification tray "Allow Device to Connect" option is not greyed out. It is common issue with dongles and very difficult if not impossible to sort out.

The best to use PC with integrated Bluetooth.

First of all you connect printer with USB cable and allow windows to install it. It will be ready for wired printing. To install Bluetooth printer you need to download and install Zebra Setup Utility, run it, highlight ZD420 and click on Configure printer connectivity button, choose Bluetooth, Authentication On, choose 6 digit authentication code (000000 for simplicity or whichever you will forget next day) , give name to printer and click finish. Now you can go to Control panel and Add Device (not Add Printer but Add Device). It will install device with printer icon but it is not a printer yet. Go to properties, hardware and note COM port number on which it is installed. Only now you go to Control Panel, Add printer, Choose Local-not Bluetooth, create COM port with the same number you noted if it is not available yet and install drivers by choosing ZD420 , add pairing code when requested and here your misery should end. Almost. Right click on newly installed printer, Printing preferences, set label size, Dithering-non, set Media Type- run Calibration and now you can go to buy bottle of wine to celebrate victory. If you can't get into Printing preferences after installation- right click on Bluetooth icon on notification tray and check if option Allow a Device to Connect is not grayed out. If it is - I am helpless to help. You can read through thousands of forums about this issue online - maybe some solutions will help you, maybe not. I tried myself two dongles on two computers and failed to install properly but on laptop with build in Bluetooth it went like through butter.

Please bear in mind that bluetooth is used not for printing labels but for printer configuration.
