Lovely Antique Chinese Canton Export porcelain Famille Rose Canton deep plate. Decorated in traditional and popular Famille Rose Canton pattern featuring birds, insects, and flowers this plate also features scholar objects on the rims.

The plate is unmarked. To the best of my knowledge and based on types of decorations and shape of the foot, this is older set and it was likely made during late Qing - first half of 19thC.

Condition: sold AS IS due to repair and hairline. There also are some typical condition imperfections such as small scabs on the rims. (please see pictures), there are some rough areas and minor scabs and number of firing imperfections around the rims (typical for these wares) use marks and wear to gilt/enamels. Use related marks corresponding with age. Wear on underside. Repair and hairline mostly visible from the underside and doesn’t affect the look overall so much. The plate still displays lovely Please see photos as they are part of the description.
