Description Pink Floyd, the legendary British band who formed in 1967 had already established themselves as a world class band with a global audience by the time 1987's album Momentary Lapse Of Reason had arrived. Having survived line-up changes and creative differences, Pink Floyd emerged in the late eighties with guitarist / vocalist David Gilmour at the helm, along with drummer Nick Mason. A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was an international smash and multi-platinum success that resulted in a two year world tour playing to 4.5 million fans. Filmed at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum in August 1988 and directed by Wayne Isham, the 2020 release of the Grammy Award nominated Delicate Sound Of Thunder film has been painstakingly restored, remixed and reedited to form this series of releases. The set list carefully balances the then-new material and Pink Floyd classics, including songs from The Dark Side Of The Moon, the anthemic title track of Wish You Were Here, The Wall's Comfortably Numb and a cathartic Run Like Hell. The 2-CD version features all the songs from A Momentary Lapse Of Reason including the powerful Learning To Fly, On The Turning Away and Sorrow.
