Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 118 years old from an 1881 edition of Andrees Allgemeiner Handaltas, (Beilefeld and Liepzig: Verlag von Velhagen & Klassing, 1881. There is a date of 1881 on the bottom left corner in small print just inside the border of the map. The labeling language is in German. In general, the Andrees maps are exceptional for their detail and vibrant color, which are among the best of the late 19th century maps. The map is not matted nor framed being sold as a single map, as seen in the first pic, printed on a large heavy sheet with similar maps of other countries on the reverse. Overall a beautiful map in great condition.
Size: The map image area from neat line to neat line measures approximately 7 by 9 inches (18x23cm) on a 8 by 10 1/2 inch (20x27cm) page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Good condition for its age printed on a bright, very heavy page with similar maps on the reverse. There are a few minor spots in the margin, otherwise it is very clean with nice strong color that will frame up well, see the pics for more info on the condition. The pics are of the actual map.
