Vintage Retro 1969 Elliotts of Newbury sideboard model 40241 finish 41

Three drawers (one for cutlery), three separate cupboard sections, each with internal shelf.

Purchased new in 1969. Used from new in dining room of just one family’s home, now being cleared, and sideboard now seeking a new home. Everything is original. Includes Elliotts of Newbury’s label, product details and maker’s marks on back of sideboard (all shown in photos).

In decent vintage condition. Bottoms of all drawers and cupboard sections have been lined inside, thus helping maintain the interior finish. Do zoom into the photos to check details of what you are bidding for. Seller has noted slight wear on the foam linings of the cutlery drawer, consistent with age. See pictures. Note that the stay on the left of the centre door has been refixed firmly to the side panel.

The top of the sideboard above the central drawer and cupboard is rectangular whereas the left and right sections of the top are tapered slightly at the front. See photos to view the effect.

·       Lower right cupboard section with door hinged on the right, suitable for boxes or loose crockery and glassware. Removable shelf part way up.

Collection only, please. Sideboard is in the front room on the ground floor, right next to the internal door. There is flat safe parking immediately outside the front door.
