Cenni storici della nave:

HMS Victory, l'ultima nave da combattimento britannica, lunga 227 piedi con 104 cannoni e trasportava 850 uomini a piena capacità. Iniziata la vita nel 1778, capitanata per la prima volta dal famoso ammiraglio Horatio Nelson, come sua ammiraglia, sconfisse con successo i Francesi nella “Battle of Trafalgar" il 21 ottobre 1805. Dopo un ulteriore servizio nel Baltico ed al largo della costa della Spagna, fu messa in riserva nel 1812 a Portsmouth.

HMS Victory vide un servizio quasi costante dal 1778 al 1812, ora è stata completamente restaurata ed è permanentemente ormeggiata nel porto di Portsmouth in Inghilterra, che può essere visitata ancora oggi
