Phoebe is a precious wood unique to China and is distributed in western Hubei, northwestern Guizhou and Sichuan. Golden Phoebe likes a warm and humid environment, but is resistant to heat and cold. It mostly grows in damp valleys, mountain depressions and riversides at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. It can tolerate intermittent short-term flooding and thrives in areas with deep soil and good drainage. It grows best on acidic or slightly acidic alluvial soil or loamy soil. [6] Propagation can be carried out by sowing and cutting methods. [7] In 1984, golden nanmu was included in the "List of Rare and Endangered Protected Plants" and the "List of Key Protected Plants", and is a national second-level protected plant. [8] In Chinese architecture, golden nanmu has always been regarded as the most ideal, precious and high-end building material. This is because golden nanmu is resistant to corrosion, repels insects, is warm in winter and cool in summer, is not easily deformed, has fine and magnificent texture, and is extremely exquisite. , so it is widely used in palaces, gardens, altars, temples and mausoleums. Buddhism also uses golden light to represent religious solemnity. Therefore, many important religious buildings also use golden nanmu. Golden nanmu products have become classic collections representing Chinese culture. [9] The bracelets made of golden nanmu have a warm and soft texture and are not cold to the touch. They are cool and comfortable in summer and are suitable for wearing and playing with everywhere. [10]
