This item has no glass-and the backing was a thin slice of veneer-it had to be reinforced w/foamcore board and taped on. It will need restoration. The Portrait has some spots-(see photos) and some scrapes,rubs/smudges,& a large 3" piece on top left corner that was broken off and badly repaired by previous owner. The Frame has scrapes/scuffs and some old dents.The carved chain look trim was sold to me as "Bakelite", but I am not sure if it is. MAY NOT BE BAKELITE, may be molded/pressed wood.One link was repaired by owner,but I can't tell which one! Very attractive young woman,with a high ruffle collar and Edwardian clothing. This item could use repair/or restoration, or keep in original state. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND READ ALL INFO BEFORE PURCHASE.
