Up for bid is an unusual vintage Comic postcard.  Shown is a colorful lithographic illustration provided by Outcault (his signature appears at the lower-right corner). It features Buster Brown with his dog Tige speeding along in an early-model automobile as they approach two women having trouble with their horse-drawn cart. Below is a printed caption.  When you supersize image 1 you can see the details. The artistry's terrific and the colors are still good.

Published by the Souvenir Post Card Co., this colorful postcard has been posted and has a 1906 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on the undivided back.

Here is a wonderful 110 year old card that is ready for framing.  It will make a thoughtful gift or can be added to your Outcault or Comic postcard collection.  Some lucky bidder gets to take this terrific card home.  Will it be you?!?

CONDITION 
We provide the clearest high-resolution scans possible of both the front and back of the item to show you the condition.
In addition, we provide, as accurately as possible, a verbal condition description as we see it.

CONDITION:  Expected soiling with corner blunting.  A bit of surface and edge wear.  No creases or rips. Some handwriting on the front at the right margin. A small strip of paper loss at the bottom. Some glue stains and paper residue on the back. Clear image and good colors. The front of this 110 year-old paper antique presents nicely.

 AFTER YOU WIN  

Expected Payment:  Payment to be received within 7 days after close of auction.  Buyer pays S&H.

Communication: The winner will receive an invoice requesting payment within one business day after the auction ends.  After payment has cleared, an Email will be sent to inform the winner that the card has been shipped.  A copy of the invoice will accompany the shipment.

 

Careful Package: The card is carefully placed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in a sturdy stay-flat cardboard envelope for maximum protection.

FAST Shipping:  Items are shipped the next business day after payment clears.  Cards are sent 1st class USPS mail which is usually very reliable.

Combined auction shipping: You can save on S/H charges when you buy multiple auctions within a 7-day period and combine shipping. Auctions must be paid for in one payment and shipped together--please ask for a combined invoice before paying.
