Style 5 BBS Factory 17x8 et20 2-piece alloys - RESTORED Silver Powdercoat.

This is a fully restored set of wheels fit with custom billet caps ($478/set; ebay item #364377325543).  Perfect for your concours or show car.  Here are the details:

• Factory BBS RC090 wheels fit with custom made billet waffle plates, hex caps, and adapters. 
• Size = 17x8, offset 20mm
• Lug spacing is 5 on 120mm.
• Center bore = 74.1mm to fit E39 models.
• Weight is approximately 23 pounds.
• Fully Restored.
  • This included trueing a few minor flat spots and repairing some minor curb rash on the lips.  There were no significant bends or cracks or similar damage.  The wheels barrels were not welded on except for one lip which had a curb rash scar about 0.5" long and it was welded on to fill, and then polished.
  • The outer lips and billet hex nuts were then polished to a mirror finish the correct high speed polishers and compounds.  The inner barrels were polished to a satin shine so please see the photos to evaluate condition and any small flaws. 
  • The center sections and billet waffle plates were powder-coated with a Silver Metallic high end resin that very closely matches the stock BBS/BMW silver.  The color coat was followed by "Crystal" clear powder to give the paint a very smooth and reflective wet look.  The powdercoat provides a much more durable, smooth, and long lasting finish than does spray paint, so don't settle for painted cross-spoke wheels that collect brake dust and are hard to clean.  There are no flaws in the finish.  Photos are shown.  
  • The wheels were then properly reassembled using the original hardware that was freshly Chrome plated.  The nuts were cleaned zinc plated so they will not easily rust.
  • Each nut was tightened to 18 ft-lbs (checked with torque wrench) with an application of blue thread locking compound.
  • Includes brand new billet hex center caps and waffle plates.  I have included new JDM BBS Motorsport 3-D silver over black center emblems.  These are 4-tab units I modified to fit the 3-tab caps (ground off the tabs and siliconed them into place).
• What you end up with is a properly restored and assembled set of wheels that very closely matches vintage BBS RS wheels but at a price 50% less.  I have been restoring this type of wheel for about 20+ years and do this work with the correct tools and utilize the best powdercoating shop in the San Diego area.  You are getting a high quality restored set of wheels.  I have included at least one photo of each wheel to see the quality of the refinish job.
• I have spun each wheel on a balancer multiple times during the process to be sure that it is 100% trued and straight. 

These fit all sorts of early and late BMWs.  Please do your research and certainly ask if you can't figure it out.  For early cars with 72.56mm diameter hubs, I recommend hubcentric rings to span the difference in the hub diameter (add $25/4).
