Gorgeous Authentic Antique Austro Hungarian Sterling Silver Turquoise Necklace.

This necklace quite a beauty. It features natural untreated Persian Turquoise gems with beautiful matrix and natural sea Pearls(one Pearl seems replaced at the bottom right of the teardrop). These are rare gem grade Persian Turquoise set in an antique necklace. They have acquired an aesthetic color change from age that only natural, untreated Turquoise can achieve, that is a greenish-blue hue on some of the stones.

The handwrought sterling silver is very ornate.

The necklace has a luminous gold gilt over the Silver that has acquired patina over the many years.

There are two large cabochons of Turquoise followed by eighteen smaller bezels. Seven of these surround the center cabochon and five surround the teardrop.

There are also four bezels accentuating the upper links.

There are ornate floral motifs on the back of the tear drop along with beautiful curlicue openwork  at the back of the upper part of the pendant.

This necklace creates a charming and elegant appeal when worn.

Measurements

Pendant is 51 mm or 2 inches long × 35mm or 1.37 inch wide.

Necklace has a wearable length of 17 inches.

Large Turquoise cabochon 9mm × 6mm.

There are some unique markings on the clasp.

The piece tests positive for 925 Sterling Silver.

Necklace is in excellent condition ready to be worn. This will also make a fine gift and addition to any jewelry collection.
