SS Claremont Victory Offered is a WW II Memorial Ship cover

postmarked Jan 4, 2010 at Claremont, CA. This 455' merchant cargo vessel

was one of a large group of Victory Ships named for American Cities.

This ship was launched on May 2, 1944 by Oregon Shipbuilding in Portland, OR

and named for the City of Claremont, CA. This proud new ship transported vital supplies to US and Allied
