From 1966 with engine and frame numbers only 175 apart!
I personally imported this scooter from Sicily in 2020, the date of first registration is December 2020 on an appropriate 1966 D plate. I am the only UK owner and the V5 is in my name. I have all the original photos before the restoration and all the old parts that were not used, so the buyer would have everything to fully authenticate that most of the scooter is totally original. I have all the communications with the Sicilian seller and will pass on absolutely everything I have to the new owner.
As you can see this amazing scooter has been in my house since the restoration was completed in 2022. I am only selling this scooter and some others, as I simply have too many in my collection now and I have just restored a GT200 with close connections to the band The Who which is going to take the place of the SX200 in my house.
Whilst it has been stored internally, it is a complete runner with fuel and oil and will of course start fine. I will share all information with regards the award-winning restorer and you can talk to him directly etc.
I also have a Lambretta Club frame and engine verification letter dated October 2020 and will include an old new stock SX200 Instruction Booklet which was from Nigel Cox Museum, probably only one of a very few remaining perfect copies.
I am able to deliver anywhere in the UK on my own van.
