My trusty old Minelab Sovereign XS metal detector,
fitted with a waterproof "Sea-Search" coil for hunting
jewellery and coins in the surf. As you can see from
the photos, this machine has been well used, the coil
is quite scuffed but still works fine. The battery
cover is also quite worn and can be hard to open.
The machine comes with its original battery pack and
charger, no box, just what you see in the photos.
Please note that although the battery pack does hold
charge for testing purposes, it is now almost 30 years old
and will almost certainly not operate for as long as it
did originally and may need to be replaced; new 3rd
party replacement battery packs are available.

Note that only the coil is waterproof,
not the whole detector - don't take it diving!
