A lovely Live Steam Boat/ Launch finished with cream hull and dark polished top. Attention to detail goes right down to the brass cleats and ropes fitted along the uppermost edges of the boat. The boat measures just under 3 1/2 foot in length and is fitted with a 6 inch (not including chimney) vertical boiler and gas tank burner together with a vertical twin cylinder engine connected to a prop.

The twin cylinder engine turns over however is a little stiff to turn and does not currently run on air. Equally, the RC units are looking a little aged and although the wiring looks good and complete, there’s no guarantee that they will work. There is no remote control included.

Overall, this boat would make for an excellent project - it clearly has seen some use but due to long term storage, is now beginning to show its age and would therefore benefit from a service and some minor repair work. The hull itself is generally very good although there is a crack (which is repairable) at the very front as shown in the final photo.
