DC Comics
Batman: Officer Down

For sale is "Batman: Officer Down." This trade paperback graphic novel collects the entirety of the "Officer Down" crossover storyline, where Commissioner Gordon is shot on the eve of his retirement - and Batman, the Bat-family, and the GCPD all attempt to track down his would-be killer. Written by Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker, who would go on to do the incredible "Gotham Central" series, this story is full of tense, emotional drama, and features a multitude of artists, including the talented Rick Burchett. All in all, this book collects "Batman" #587, "Robin" #86, "Birds of Prey" #27, "Catwoman" #90, "Nightwing" #53, "Detective Comics" #754, and "Batman: Gotham Knights" #13.

The book is unread and in excellent condition, featuring only very light shelf wear from where it sat on the comic book store's shelves. Please see the pictures for details. It was stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.

ABOUT ME

I am a longtime Ebayer - both buying and selling for over 20 years, with a spotless record. This is because smooth, pleasant transactions and customer service are important to me. I've recently created this new account to separate my non-comics purchases from my comic book buying/selling. While its 100% positive feedback rating over the past several years speaks for itself, I am happy to provide you my personal Ebay account which also has 100% positive feedback over two decades.

As a longtime Batman fan, I also know how important comic book condition is to collectors and readers, so you can feel comfortable knowing your purchases will be well taken care of!

SHIPPING and OTHER TERMS

Per Ebay rules, payment is expected within 4 days of the auction end, and I will ship within 3 business days of receiving payment - if payment is received by early evening, usually most items will ship the next business day (including Saturdays). Free shipping will be done via Media Mail in the lower 48 states. Customers from other states (or countries) can inquire for a shipping quote, but it will be more expensive.

If a delivery cannot be made by the post office and the item is automatically returned by mail, I am willing to attempt a second shipment - however, the buyer will have to pay for the actual shipping cost of this second attempt (even if the first delivery was made via a "Free Shipping" option or a combined shipping discount was applied for the initial shipment).

If an item is damaged in transit or does not otherwise match the original item description, I will provide a full refund - customer satisfaction is important to me. However, all items should be returned in the condition in which they were received. For example, if an item is sent sealed in the original shrink-wrap, it should be returned still sealed in the original shrink-wrap (guaranteeing the item was damaged in shipment and not after receipt).

Items returned for reasons other than damage not mentioned in the listing (i.e., mistaken ordering, etc.) must also be sent in the condition in which they were received, and buyers will be assessed a $10 restocking fee per book.

I am only interested in transactions with pleasant buyers who are purchasing and operating on Ebay in good faith. To that end, I will cancel any order from any problematic buyers or buyers with red flags. Red flags include:
  • Large amounts of negative feedback from prior transactions
  • High-value purchases from a brand new account without a transaction history
  • Leaving negative feedback for invalid reasons (such as blaming sellers for USPS shipping delays that are out of their hands)
  • Higher-than-average amount of negative feedback left for others
More than 99% of my interactions on Ebay, as both a buyer and a seller, have been positive. If you seem to consistently have problems with other sellers, then the problem probably has less to do with other sellers and more to do with yourself - and out of respect for both your time and mine, I would rather not engage in a transaction that may leave either one of us feeling unhappy.
