DC Comics
Batman: Face the Face
James Robinson  Don Kramer

For sale is "Batman: Face the Face." This trade paperback graphic novel collects the entirety of the "Face the Face" storyline, part of the "One Year Later" DC comics event, in which all of DC continuity was flash-forwarded one year, after the events of "Infinite Crisis." Writer James Robinson and artist Don Kramer tells the tale of how recently-cured Harvey Dent (restored from his prior moniker as "Two-Face" in the "Hush" storyline) is entrusted by Batman to protect Gotham City during his year-long absence. But can Dent really be trusted? How certain is it that Two-Face isn't lurking beneath the surface, ready to be drawn out once more? And who might be pulling strings in the background, attempting to manipulate Harvey into another tragic fall? This storyline would have multiple significant impacts on Batman's continuity, including the death of multiple named villains, as well as a redefining of the relationship between Batman and Harvey Bullock, as well as Bruce and Tim Drake. All in all, this book collecrts "Batman" #651-654 and "Detective Comics" #817-820.

Best of all, this book is signed by the writer, James Robinson, including a reminder to the reader to "Don't be two-faced!"

This book is in excellent condition, with just a bit of shelf wear along the edges of the covers with some scuffing (it was carried to a comic conventions to get the signature!). There are no major creases, rips, tears, or missing pages, and the binding is strong and intact. Please see the pictures for details. It was stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

Thank you!

ABOUT ME

I am a longtime Ebayer - both buying and selling for over 20 years, with a spotless record. This is because smooth, pleasant transactions and customer service are important to me. I've recently created this new account to separate my non-comics purchases from my comic book buying/selling. While its 100% positive feedback rating over the past several years speaks for itself, I am happy to provide you my personal Ebay account which also has 100% positive feedback over two decades.

As a longtime Batman fan, I also know how important comic book condition is to collectors and readers, so you can feel comfortable knowing your purchases will be well taken care of!

SHIPPING and OTHER TERMS

Per Ebay rules, payment is expected within 4 days of the auction end, and I will ship within 3 business days of receiving payment - if payment is received by early evening, usually most items will ship the next business day (including Saturdays). Free shipping will be done via Media Mail in the lower 48 states. Customers from other states (or countries) can inquire for a shipping quote, but it will be more expensive.

If a delivery cannot be made by the post office and the item is automatically returned by mail, I am willing to attempt a second shipment - however, the buyer will have to pay for the actual shipping cost of this second attempt (even if the first delivery was made via a "Free Shipping" option or a combined shipping discount was applied for the initial shipment).

If an item is damaged in transit or does not otherwise match the original item description, I will provide a full refund - customer satisfaction is important to me. However, all items should be returned in the condition in which they were received. For example, if an item is sent sealed in the original shrink-wrap, it should be returned still sealed in the original shrink-wrap (guaranteeing the item was damaged in shipment and not after receipt).

Items returned for reasons other than damage not mentioned in the listing (i.e., mistaken ordering, etc.) must also be sent in the condition in which they were received, and buyers will be assessed a $10 restocking fee per book.

I am only interested in transactions with pleasant buyers who are purchasing and operating on Ebay in good faith. To that end, I will cancel any order from any problematic buyers or buyers with red flags. Red flags include:
  • Large amounts of negative feedback from prior transactions
  • High-value purchases from a brand new account without a transaction history
  • Leaving negative feedback for invalid reasons (such as blaming sellers for USPS shipping delays that are out of their hands)
  • Higher-than-average amount of negative feedback left for others
More than 99% of my interactions on Ebay, as both a buyer and a seller, have been positive. If you seem to consistently have problems with other sellers, then the problem probably has less to do with other sellers and more to do with yourself - and out of respect for both your time and mine, I would rather not engage in a transaction that may leave either one of us feeling unhappy.
