Vintage Japanese lacquered rose tray with mother of pearl.

12" round lacquered wood tray. Bamboo and mother of pearl rim approximately 1" tall. Beautiful handpainted red roses. Although the sticker on the back says, "The Nanking, Chinese fine arts, 2079 Kuhio Ave. Honolulu", I do believe this tray is Japanese and not Chinese. Vintage is mid century. Condition is good+.
