WWII Era German S84/98 Bayonet w/Scabbard for the Mauser K98 Rifle - Marked: Carl Eickhorn & Dated 1938 - Very Nice Condition

Up for sale is an early WWII Era German S84/98 Bayonet with Scabbard for the Mauser K98 Rifle.  The bayonet is marked: Carl Eickhorn & 6185 over q.  The edge of the blade is dated 1938.  The blade shows no evidence of sharpening.  The blade is blued with some finish and scabbard wear.  It has the wooden grip panels.  The grips are in Very Nice Condition, a few dings in the right side panel, just the normal minor dings and handling marks.  The pommel and release button has the Eagle Proof marks. The scabbard is in Nice condition as well, a few minor dings, no rust, some minor surface pitting.  The scabbard markings do not match the bayonet.  The scabbard is marked: S/155G and 7073.  The tips of the scabbard has the Eagle Proof mark.  Hard to find K98 German Bayonets in this condition.
