Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop releases J-180 LS!

Acoustic guitars are finally being added to the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop lineup, which is a collaboration between Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop.

The Gibson J-180 has been used by rock, country, and pop legends, from the Everly Brothers, Cat Stevens, and Billie Joe Armstrong to today's most famous artists.

Now, Epiphone is collaborating with Gibson Custom Shop to release a new model of the player's popular J-180.

All solid body with thermally aged spruce top and mahogany back/sides with traditional scalloped X bracing.

C profile & 25.5 inches (LS: Long Scale) 1-piece mahogany neck, with the mother-of-pearl star inlay shining on the fingerboard, which is the symbol of this model.

The saddle, bridge pin, and nut are all molded from bone material to improve sustain and volume.

The headstock features Gibson's original "openbook" headstock shape, with a star inlay on the front and an "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo on the back.

Built-in L.R.Baggs VTC preamplifier and undersaddle piezo pickup system, it can be used in a variety of situations such as live performance and studio recording.

A hard shell case with the Inspired by Gibson Custom logo is included.

The collaboration between Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop continues to produce guitars that are undeniably approachable and of high quality.
