Magic Lantern Slide KENSINGTON ART MUSEUM NO26 C1888 PHOTO V&A VICTORIA & ALBERT

An incredibly rare early image of the V&A museum dated to no later than 1888. At this time the V&A was named the South Kensington museum ( renamed the V&A in 1899 ). The slide is one of 110 slides of the museum produced by York & son and I have seen no other examples of this set other than those I'm listing . Of historical national importance.

This specific slide is number 26 and has a paper title that reads "  Seven-branched Candlestick, Milan "

The slide is approximately 8.2cm X 8.2cm or in inches 3.23" X 3.23"
