Portrait as a boy, three-quarter length in an oval, in profile to left, wearing a decorated coat with large cuffs and a sash and star, gesturing to the left with his tricorn under his arm, right hand on his hip, hair curled at the ears and tied at the nape; after Wilson; with sash and star added.
