VINTAGE ANIMATED CALIFORNIA PICTURE MAP

This is a vintage California picture map which was carefully removed from a book published in 1946.

The map features sketches of people, buildings, vegetation, compass rose, boats, and more.  

  It measures approximately 4.5 by 6.5 inches.

It is in very good condition - note the print extends to the left and right edges of the page (binding holes are visible along the left edge - see second image) and there is French text on the reverse side.

I think it would be fun to frame several of these maps and display them in a group.  

A grouping might include your birthplace, places you have visited on vacation or a honeymoon.  
These make fun gifts!

It will be carefully packaged in a plastic sleeve, with a thin piece of backing, then 
sandwiched between pieces of cardboard.
