The Canon EF 80-200mm f/2.8 L is legendary for its superb, ultra-sharp optics and its incredibly durable, all-metal construction. This was the "go-to" lens for professional photographers and is part of the reason why Canon is so popular today! Additionally, it's built much better (all-metal versus a metal/plastic combo) than its successors and is slimmer than the f/2.8 teles Canon makes now.
This particular example is in excellent condition, free of any mechanical issues, separation, fungus, and haze. It focuses fast, is tack-sharp, and is in cosmetically amazing shape. It has been well taken care of, always carried in a padded bag with caps and a protective filter in front (bag not included). Many 80-200s have broken AF switches, but this one's is perfectly intact and has absolutely no play.
Included in this listing is the lens, tripod collar, front and rear caps, and a Hoya 72mm UV filter that's also scratch-free- everything you need except the camera!
